Field Trip
The field trip is an exciting kick-off to students' career in Environmental Science. It is a service learning project in which the students collect prairie seeds at the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge. The field trip takes place on September 17.
Weekly Meeting (EnSci 110, 202, and 203)
A weekly program is provided with presentations from peer mentors with tips on how to make full use of the resources available to Environmental Science students at Iowa State.
One students response after the field trip:
"I can happily say that I now talk to at least four people more frequently than prior to the field trip. We're planning on organizing a study group as well. Thank you so much. A great kickoff to college."
