My primary research responsibility is in environmental soil mineralogy. For the past decade, the program has focused on environmental applications of soil science, including studies of the sorption and transport of dissolved compounds and elements in soil (e.g., phosphorus, dissolved organic matter, trace metals, and polyaromatic hydrocarbons).
