GIS in Environmental Science

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is an exciting tool that is very useful to Environmental Scientists. While GIS can be used in several Environmental Science courses, the following courses are primarily for students to develop GIS skills:

  • EnSci 345 - Natural Resource Photogrammetry and Geographic Information Systems
  • EnSci 408 - GIS and Natural Resources Management
  • EnSci 446 - Integrated GPS and GIS for Natural Resource Management
  • EnSci 452 - GIS for Geoscientists
