Specialty: Ecosystems Ecology

 

Narrative: I am an ecosystems ecologist with interests in carbon cycling in terrestrial systems. I am particularly interested in how environmental factors such as climate, disturbance, species, nutrient availability, and soil type control the movement of carbon through the atmosphere-plant-soil cycle. I address these issues using observational, experimental, and modeling approaches.
